Made it to Abe point at dawn— only small bonito to be found— out to the 14 dragging a pair of baits— spent the high slack there then wandered over to the 221 and then on to the outer oil rigs with rigged baits swimming nicely, found a good temp break w/ shearwaters and pelicans, followed the drop-off back down to Newport Canyon and finally down outside Crystal Cove’s dropoff- to soak a squid for swordfish while rowing - then back to dry land
